Finale 2025 Registration

Eligibility for Grand Finale:

  • Participants who have been selected in the preliminary rounds will be invited for the Grand Finale.
  • Teams cannot exceed 4 members.
  • Mentors should register separately under mentor registration for the Grand Finale if attending.

Registration Process for Grand Finale (Likely Steps):

  1. Invitation/Notification: If your project is selected for Grand Finale, you will receive an official invitation or notification from the YESIST12 team, via email.
  2. Online Registration: Participants need to register online through a specific link provided in the invitation for Grand Finale.
  3. Team Declaration: Teams will need to Submit a declaration form confirming their participation and adherence to the rules. Download Declaration form template
  4. Registration Fee : There is a registration fee for participating in the Grand Finale, to cover the costs of food and attendance. Registration categories should be followed while registering .
  5. Accommodation and Logistics: Information regarding accommodation options (university hostels or nearby hotels) and other logistical details is provided in the website.
  6. Travel Grants: Participants selected for the Grand Finale are eligible to apply for travel grants to support their participation in the offline event. Call for applications will be published on the website soon.
  7. There is a registration fee for participating in the Grand Finale, that includes registration kit, lunch, coffee breaks and attendance. Registration categories should be followed while registering .

General Guidelines and Information:

  • Physical Presence: The YESIST12 2025 Grand Finale is mentioned as an exclusive in-person event, meaning presentations must be delivered physically at the venue (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 23rd – 24th August 2025).
  • Prototype/Demonstration: The Grand Finale will be organised with showcasing opportunities for the participants with their innovative ideas. So every team is strongly encouraged to bring a working model or a prototype for the Finale.
  • Evaluation: Projects in the Grand Finale will be evaluated by a jury based on criteria specific to each track, such as innovation, impact, feasibility, technical proficiency, and presentation. This is available on the website.
  • Tracks: Ensure you register under the correct track your project was selected for – Innovation Challenge, Junior Einstein, Maker Fair, WePOWER, Special Track. Each track does have specific themes and evaluation criteria.
  • Deadlines: Keep an eye on any communicated deadlines for registration,submissions and travel grant applications.
  • Communication: While the organising team will ensure that any important guidelines or deadlines are individually communicated via email, regularly checking the official YESIST12 website (ieeeyesist12.org) and your email for updates and announcements will help you plan your visit well.  You can also reach out to the provided contact details (support@ieeeyesist12.org) for specific queries.
  • **Only registered Team members are allowed to present their presentation. Mentors are not allowed to present on behalf of their team members.
