IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. He has served in many leadership roles in IEEE at Section, Council, Region, MGA (Member Geographic Activities) and was also a Member of Board of Governors of IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (2013-2015). Deepak served as Chair of IEEE India Council in 2015- 2016.

Deepa Shenoy is currently working as professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore University, Bangalore, India. She did her Doctorate in the area of Data Mining from Bangalore University in the year 2005. Her areas of research include Data Mining, Soft Computing, Biometrics and Social Media Analysis. She has awarded 9 PhDs and published more than 150 papers in refereed International Conferences and Journals. She was a WIE chair of Bangalore section from 2010 to 2014 and SAC Chair from 2015 to 2016. Bozenna Pasik-Duncan received her MS degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Warsaw University, Ph.D. and D.Sc. from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). She is currently Professor of Mathematics, Chancellor’s Club Teaching Professor, Courtesy Professor of EECS and AE, and Investigator at ITTC at the University of Kansas (KU). Her current research interests are primarily in stochastic adaptive control, data analysis and stochastic modeling with applications to finance, insurance, medicine, and telecommunications. She is Founder and Coordinator of KU Mathematics Outreach Program since 1992. Supavadee Aramvith (IEEE S’95-M’01-SM’06, IEICE M’04) received the B.S. (first class honors) degree in Computer Science from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1993. She received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. She joined Chulalongkorn University in June 2001. Currently, she is currently an Associate Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Her research specialization is in the areas of video coding and processing, specifically error resilience for wireless video transmission, video analytics for surveillance applications, and embedded computer vision system.
